Second richest man in the world and Co-founder of  Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation ,  Bill Gates,  has described  Nigeria  as one of the most difficult countries to eradicate the polio disease. Gates stated this when he spoke at the joint forum of the  Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting  in  Westminster  yesterday April 17th. According to the billionaire and philantropist,  India, Nigeria and Pakistan  have proven to be the most difficult places to wipe out the disease but that Nigeria has done well by learning some steps from India. “If you want to do something better, find out who is already doing better than anyone else in the world, and adopt what they are doing, to your own challenges. Nigerians will ease out President Buhari in 2019 - Olu Falae

The National Chairman of Social Democratic Party (SDP),  Chief Olu Falae  has declared that everything possible will be done to ease out  President Muhammadu Buhari  from power come 2019. Falae, who spoke in Abeokuta after a consultation meeting with former  President Olusegun Obasanjo , said the affairs of Nigeria are greater than the political ambition of anybody. He also stated that the emergence of a good, progressive leadership in 2019 was imperative for the sake of Buhari and the country at large.     Falae, who is a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) and Minister of Finance in the General Ibrahim Babangida military regime, arrived the home of his host at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) about 12:30 p.m. The meeting, which lasted for about two hours, had in attendance a former presidential spokesman, Dr. Doyin Okupe; former Ogun State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), E...

A man posed with a Dolphin he killed in Ibeno local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. Facebook user, Amaka Chukwuyere posted the photos on Easter Sunday, slamming the man for killing the animal. "This dolphin was killed today in Ibeno local government in Akwa Ibom State..  Nigerians sha.. Instead of puting it in a drum of water so people can come view it via tourist attraction, una prefer to use am do Easter fish Pepper soup. Me wey never see dolphin b4. Ndi-ala." she wrote. Hell does exist, Pope Francis says

The Catholic Pontiff has denied the rumors alleging that he said hell does not exist. Italian journalist Eugenio Scalfari of La Repubblica reported last week that Pope Francis denied the existence of hell. The 93-year-old avowed atheist reporter wrote that when asked about the fate of "bad souls," Pope Francis responded, "Hell does not exist." Scalfari said that the pope added, "The disappearance of sinful souls exists." After Scalfari made the claims, Catholics and other believers immediately took to every platform available to them to express their fury at this. The Vatican has now stepped in to adamantly reject Scalfari's characterization of the conversation, which it insisted was not an official interview but rather a "private meeting." Anti-apartheid activist, Nomzamo Winifred Madikizela-Mandela‚ has died at the age of 81. Her Personal Assistant‚ Zodwa Zwane‚ who confirmed the struggle veteran’s death on Monday afternoon, April 2, said the family would be issuing a statement later in the day. Born in Bizana in the Eastern Cape in 1936‚ she moved to Johannesburg to study social work after matriculating. She met lawyer and anti-apartheid activist Nelson Mandela in 1957 and they were married a year later. They had two children together. However‚ her marriage life with Mandela was short-lived‚ as he was arrested in 1963 and sentenced to life imprisonment for treason. Mandela was eventually released in 1990.
